And, it's all right here close to home and family. The Saunders Medical Center Auxiliary plans for the future development of health services and programs that meet the needs of the patients. All items purchased by the Auxiliary for the health care system is done so in the best interest of the patient, and allows the knowledgeable staff to meet those needs right here close to home.
Income for the year 2009 totaled $19,109.72. Disbursements totaled $12,822.00 with $5148.76 going to purchases for hospital necessities such as IV poles, wheel chairs, sliding board, digital baby scale and blood pressure machine and stand. The total amount of medical equipment purchases and misc. items given to the hospital from the Auxiliary to date is $246,630.82.
