When your Doctor has ordered a test to be done at SMC, your doctor will contact the Saunders Medical Center Scheduling Department to set up a time for your testing. You may set up your own appointment, if your doctor has provided you an order (i.e. outpatient service order form, prescription) for you to call at your convenience. SMC requires an order for all tests/procedures completed. To schedule your test/procedure please call 402-443.4191

You will be contacted by the Admission Services/ Scheduling Department one or two days before your test/procedure, to confirm your appointment and explain any preparations you may need to follow for your upcoming test/procedure. At this time please notify us of any special needs you have. Also during this call we will complete your pre-registration, which will require you to provide us with the following information: legal given name, birth date, social security number, physical and mailing addresses, marital status, occupation, primary and secondary emergency contacts and insurance information. Every effort will be made to make the process as easy and pleasant as possible.
